Composite gaskets are seals composed of two or more layers of gaskets. They are designed for improved sealing and durability, and are available in custom designs where special dimensions are required. Combination gaskets are usually made of different materials, such as metal, rubber, plastic, etc. Combinations of different materials can provide different properties, such as chemical resistance, high temperature resistance and wear resistance. Combination gaskets are used in a variety of industries and applications such as automotive, machinery, electronic equipment, healthcare and water treatment.
Combination washers are composed of multiple sheet washers and are used to adjust the tightening force and preload of bolt fastening devices. Composite washers are divided into two types: automatic centering and non-automatic centering.
The self-centering combined washer has protrusions on the inner and outer circumferences of the washer, which can be automatically positioned in the bolt shape and ensure that the bolt will not deviate when tightened. Therefore, this combination gasket requires fewer tools and is easier to install.
Composite washers that are not self-centering have no protrusions and require special tools for positioning and more tools for installation. Although this combined washer is similar in fastening effect to self-centering, it requires more time and labor to install.
Generally speaking, the self-centering combined washer is relatively more convenient, can improve production efficiency and fastening effect, and can reduce installation errors.
