Super Cryogenic Teflon Shaft Seal
This type of seal is commonly used in cryogenic applications, such as the storage and transport of liquid nitrogen or other liquefied gases. Jacket
The jacket is made from a variety profiles and low-friction PTFE various blends and high performance polymeric materials. Since jackets are machined on a CNC Lathe to very close tolerances the seal can be easily adjusted to enhance seal performance.
Springs
The spring energize the seal lips without taking a compression set or becoming too soft or hard, the way an elastomer can. There are three different spring types , each with different load ratings to meet the linear friction or torque requirements.
