i. Sufficient ductility to provide a reliable seal.
ii. Dimensional stability to ensure the ball valve seat retains its shape for reliable sealing and performance.
iii. Very low friction to keep stem torque at a minimum.
iv. Low coefficient of thermal expansion so that the ball valve seat retains its shape when temperature changes occur.
v. Excellent wear resistance for a long service life.
vi. Chemical compatibility with all media involved .
Product description
The PTFE spring energized seal is a spring-actuated, pressure-assisted sealing device consisting of a PTFE(or other polymer) jacket partially encapsulating a stainless steel spring energizer.
