Product Introduction

PTFE seals have three basic design elements:

Graphite reinforced PTFE--polytetrafluoroethylene (ptfe, also known as Teflon, Teflon or F4) has a molecular structure similar to polyethylene (pe), forming a linear structure. The polymer polytetrafluoroethylene is tetrafluoroethylene ( TFE) homopolymer, which is a polymer material obtained by polymerization in the water phase.Because of its very high crystallinity and high molecular weight, polytetrafluoroethylene PTFE does not flow when it melts.

Product Details

PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) is commonly known as plastic king, F4, or Teflon. Suspension polytetrafluoroethylene resin is used for compression molding to produce plates, turned films and tubes. Can be pushed and molded. It can be mixed with graphite to make plates, rods, packings, ropes and raw materials.

Characteristic

1. The operating temperature range is very wide (from -200 to +260 degrees Celsius).

2. Corrosion resistance to basically all chemicals except some fluorides and alkaline metal liquids.

3. Excellent mechanical properties including aging resistance especially for bending and swing applications.

4. Outstanding flame retardancy (in accordance with ASTM-D635 and D470 test procedures, it is regulated as a flame retardant material in air.

5. Excellent insulation characteristics (regardless of frequency and temperature)

6. Extremely low water absorption, and has a series of unique properties such as self-lubricity and non-adhesion. 7. Low friction coefficient and wear resistance are very good. Applications: seals / washers, ring materials, wear plates / blocks, insulation parts, Corrosion resistance industry, machinery parts, lining, oil and gas, petrochemical industry, chemical industry, equipment manufacturers, etc.

Q1: What is the normal lead time for product orders?

A: Average lead times for prototype / first article are 1-2 weeks, if tooling is involved, lead time for production tooling is 10 days, average production time after sample approval is 2-3 weeks.

Q2: What is your standard packing?

A: All the goods will be packed by carton box and loaded with pallets. Special packing method can be accepted when needed.

A2: We have various rubber compounds approved by UL, FDA, , KTW, W270, WRAS, ACS, AS4020, EN681, EN549, RoHS and REACH.

Q3: How to select the raw compound for my application?

Q4: Do you use any international standards for the rubber products?

A: Yes, we mainly use ASTM D2000 standard to define the quality of the rubber materials, tolerances as per ISO3302, ISO2768, etc.
